are we missing something?how do we compare to Jesus' first generation of disciples..?The apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders among the people. And all the believers used to meet together in Solomon's Colonnade. No one else dared join them, even though they were highly regarded by the people. Nevertheless, more and more men and women believed in the Lord and were added to their number. As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter's shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by. Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by evil spirits, and all of them were healed.

are we missing something?

Jesus has given us the authority to cast out demons in His name. He has called us to preach the good news. What we are missing is the life that he has intended for us, and the life that many believers in other parts of the world are actually experiencing! Why can't this happen at San Diego State University? Continue to grow closer to God, pray for boldness and for the Spirit to move in remarkable ways, and maybe your eyes will be opened and you will begin to see miracles such as these.
ReplyDeleteMaybe, if we start following the real Jesus and believe that His Kingdom is here and NOW, we will begin to truly fulfill the first purpose of our fraternity and WIN OTHERS TO A SAVING KNOWLEDGE OF JESUS CHRIST.
